JDT Tractor mounted seeder for field crops (cotton, corn...)
The JDT is a large grain seeder designed by hands on specialised field engineers for from two to eight rows per bed. Created for market gardeners with 5 ha and more of beans, peas or sweet corn to sow in a day.
The seeding rolls/disks are specific to the size of seed planted.
Carefull set up and some testing before setting out to plant an entire field are the keys to success.
Most seeds can be planted by our seeders, some are easier to plant than others for the simple reason that seeds come in different shapes and sizes! Sticky seeds will be nearly impossible to plant. Coated and uncoated seeds must be kept dry at all times for obvious reasons. Keeping these basic principles in mind, very good to excellent results can be obtained. In all cases the performances of our seeders are exceptional with regard to their price.
You will need to order the quantity of rolls/disks equal to the number of rows planted by your seeder.
The seeding units are independant and mounted on a bar for easy row spacing settings.
Our tractor mounted seeder is easy to use, set up (some settings only require a 12 mm spanner) and very precise - the disk system allows one or two seeds to be extracted from the hopper at a time. A selection of drive chain sprockets are provided as standard equipment in order to set the spacing in the ridge. Planting depth is easily set by loosening a bolt on the plough assembly and tightening when the required depth is reached. The quantity of soil covering the seeds is equally easy to set by modifying the angle of the soil cover plates.
The JDT range is great value for money, and offers these unique features:
